About the Otago Branch

The Otago branch has over 200 members. The branch membership is comprised of deer farmers ranging from high country to intensive coastal properties, and scientists/researchers from Invermay and Otago University. Venison, velvet and trophy farming operations are all well represented within the province.


2011 Otago Branch Field Day & AGM

 
Branch Field Day & AGM - 28 April 2011 10am
Glen Dene Station, Lake Hawea

All welcome to attend the field day at Glen Dene Station, a venison, velvet & trophy operation, and a recent winner of a Ballance Environmental award.

  • Full day participation $30 which includes the four wheel drive tour, lunch at the lake front, farm & industry discussion with afternoon tea.
  • Half day participation $10 from 2.00pm which includes afternoon tea.

Branch Field Day and AGM - 27 April 2010
Criffel Station, Wanaka

A successful Field Day was recently held at the Criffel Station Woolshed in Wanaka. The day kicked off with a radio-broadcast tour of Criffel Station and was followed by presentations by prominent members of the local deer community.
